The Lyndhurst Turkey Fair is celebrating it's 30th Anniversary this year. It will be a fun filled day for everyone. Come and enjoy live music and delicious vendors to choose from. Take part in our Silent Auction. Meander through our Classic Car Show and Quilt Show. Take a wagon ride through the village. Your children will love the kid's area. They can meet Cinderella and enjoy the crafts and games. Try your hand at the climbing wall. Experience paddling a voyager canoe down the beautiful Lyndhurst River and meet the Kingston Navy HMCS Cataraqui. Encounter a live mermaid.

A new direction

After a 25 year career as a graphic designer, Johanne Lacroix has returned to what drew her into the world of art in the first place.

Born and raised near Quebec City, Johanne graduated from a 3 year graphic design program at CEGEP de Ste-Foy before moving to Ontario to study visual arts the University of Ottawa. She then went on to complete another graphic design program at George Brown College in Toronto.

The Poetry Project is a collaborative venture which endeavours to connect burgeoning poets from Berlin, Germany and Gananoque, Canada. In Gananoque, it will consist of 8-10 Newcomers, who meet each Wednesday for 2-4 months. TPP is free to all participants,and is inclusive of ability, race, gender and sexuality. Participants should have a working/emerging use of English or French. All sessions will take place at GAN (Gananoque Arts Network).

During Ontario Culture Days Jody Pilon will be introducing her work in progress  ‘The Hanky Project’.  Visitors will learn about the collective sacrifices of les filles du roi, also known as the king’s daughters, and gain an understanding of these little known figures in Canadian History.
