Women of the Fur Trade brings together three unforgettable voices: a Métis dreamer penning flirtatious letters to Louis Riel, a sharp-minded Ojibwe trapper wary of rebellion, and a British settler anxiously awaiting her husband’s return.

The Vernal Group Exhibition will be on view from May 8 to May 31, 2026 at J2Gallery + Studio in Gananoque. This group exhibition celebrates the vitality and renewal of the spring season, bringing together a diverse selection of artists and works that reflect themes of growth, colour, and transformation.

Join the Lansdowne Association for Revitalization (LAFR) for their Annual Plant Sale, a beloved community tradition celebrating gardening and local spirit. The sale will take place at the Lansdowne Fairgrounds from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Leeds & 1000 Islands Historical Society invites the community to an evening presentation featuring guest speaker Major (Ret’d) Michael Boire, Museum Curator since 2019.
